Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Post Secondary Education

I was divorced in Massachusetts in 1986. My daughter is now 21 and in college. I heard the law went into effect in 1994 and therefore the law does not apply to me because I was divorced in 1986. Is that true?

I am not sure who told you that. Maybe you should ask that person if the law applies to you.
