power of a attornety

if i give power of attorney over me to to my dad and by a notery how long does that last because i dont want my dad to have power of a attornety of me no more ?

You can have a document prepared rescinding the power of attorney and make sure that both your dad and your bank, and anyone else who needs to know, is informed that your dad no longer has a valid power of attorney.
