Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am currently is in the process of trying to get a divorce. My husband filed for the divorce and now he is not cooperating to get it. He had a lawyer and a hearing was scheduled but, the lawyer canceld it as he is unable to reach him. The circuit court said I need legal advice. What should I do?

In order to gain control over the proceeding you will have to file a countersuit for divorce. You should consult with a family law attorney about how to do this. This is especially important if there are property issues, or issues regarding children, to be resolved.
