Question about divorce

My sister's husban has cheated on her

and she wants to sell their house but

both of their names are on the house

what can she do. Is it true you have to

be seperated a year before you can get

a divorce?

If she has proof of adultery and has not condoned his behavior, she can file for absolute divorce immediately. She would need to be able to show that he had both the opportunity and disposition to commit adultery. She cannot sell a jointly owned marital home without his consent, but the property can be dealt with as part of the divorce case.
