Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Question: what do I do if I misplaced the return receipt that I sent to court in mail on the discovery - I did send to the defendant, but the court claimed they never got it. I had the return receipt, but it disappeared- just the "return receipt without return receipt" but proves that I did send to the court just they claimed they never returned it... what do I say at the pretrial hearing tomorrow? im a pro se

Discovery itself, whether the requests or the responses, is not filed with the court. Perhaps you are referring to the discovery notice that states you served certain discovery on the other party. That is sent by regular mail. You can always refile that at your pretrial hearing. If what is "missing" are your answers to interrogatories or your response to a document request, just send another copy to the other party or give it to them at the pretrial.
