Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

i recently broke up with my girlfriend and mother of my child. she is threatening to keep my child and put me on child support, but i already pay everything for my child. does she have the legal right to do so?

She can certainly file a complaint for child support but she's not going to get away with denying you access to the child. Unless and until there is some order or agreement stating otherwise, each parent has equal access to the child. You can file a complaint for custody to have that issue settled.
