Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I just recently found out that fifteen years ago I farthered a child. After the parternity suite, child support was filed. I don't know much about the mother or the child, but I don't think the child lives with her. Am I responsible for sending the mom child support?

You are required to follow all court orders. If there is no court order for child support, then you do not have to pay the mother. If there is a court order, you can petition the court that child support should not be paid, because the child does not live with the mother.
