Recording conversations and video at home

Is it legal to record face-to-face conversations between myself and my spouse without their knowledge? Is it legal to videotape spouse's actions while at home and can the footage be used as evidence in court in a divorce case?

It is not legal in Maryland to record conversations with another person without that person's knowledge or authorization. Photographing or videotaping (without sound recording) is not illegal.
