Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I relocated from Maryland to Texas several years ago. My youngest daughter has decided that she wants to go back home to Maryland with my mother, her grandmother. Because my youngest is also ADHD and has medication for it, I want my mother do be able to make decisions for her care as needed instead of having to come through me every time she needs something done (such as medical coverage that I can't get for her anyway because I cannot prove that I live in Maryland). Is there a simple way that I can give her the permissions over my youngest that she needs without having to go to court and such?

Your mother should file a guardianship petition in MD with your consent.
