Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Residency in chambersburg pa.

I left my husband and fled to another state, I have been gone for about 4 and a half months. I was told that if I want to retrieve any and all the items I left behind I would need to do it before my residency in this state expires which would be in at 6mos. Is this true? and how can I go about getting an extension for residency. Are there any pro-bono lawyers out there for women who have been abused, and unable to afford counsel.

I don't know who told you what you claim, but frankly it makes no sense at all. First of all, there is no such thing as residency "expiring" in a state. Second, where you live and for how long has nothing to do with one's ability to regain possession of their belongings. If you want and are financially eligible for a pro bono attorney, contact the bar association where you live and inquire about it.
