Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
Separation agreement
How difficult is it to change the terms of a separation agreement once it is signed? I feel I signed it while under emotional distress. There are two pieces of property in question (one is mentioned in the agreement and the other is not). I want to split these two things equally prior to final divorce and the language is in my husband's favor. All other property has been divided and settled.

Re: Separation agreement
Your "emotional distress" claim is not a basis for changing an agreement. If your husband had it prepared by an attorney, it probably says that each party has had the opportunity to consult with an attorney and fully understands and accepts the terms. If you didn't seek legal assistance, you probably realize by now that you should have. Of course, you can propose changing the agreement to your husband, but if he refuses you are going to be stuck with it.
