seperation

my husband and i have recently seperated, we have 2 children 18&14 he left the house. my question is the house we live in is in HIS parents name. we have lived there for 23 years can they remove me from that house?

Yes. Based solely on the information you provided, you have no rights to stay in the home since your name is not on the deed. At best you could make the argument that you are a tenant, forcing your in-laws to proceed with a formal eviction.

Without action on your part, you could be removed from the house. But you should consider that such would not occur without legal process. You have a right to a share of your contribution unto the equity of the property and you will need an attorney to pursue this claim. Your children have a right to maintain a family home and you should strongly consider hiring an attorney to assist you.
