could a leagal seperation be reversed

If, by "legal separation," you mean a written and signed agreement to separate, it can be undone by a second written agreement to rescind (cancel) the first agreement. In some cases, depending on the terms of the original agreement, the agreement may simply become void if the parties begin living together again. If, by "legal separation" you mean a court-ordered limited divorce, that could be reversed, of undone, by another court order.
