Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I was served absolute divorce summons and now I need to answer it. I am in AK and the state that it was filed in was MD. How do I answer the summons? What forms do I need?

You need to file a written response that addresses each of the allegations in the divorce complaint. You would either admit or deny each allegation. The form is not that important, although there are templates available on the Maryland Judiciary website. Your answer is due 60 days after receipt of you are out of state. Be sure you send a copy to the court and to either your spouse or his/her attorney if represented.
In addition to the answer noted above, if your spouse has an attorney, you should consider retaining an attorney to protect your rights. This is especially true if you have significant assets or debts, or children.
