Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I'm seventeen and I will be eighteen three months from now, I live in md. my parents are divorced i live with my mom she has physical custody not primary coustody. this isn't your typical mom and daughter don't get along story. there's something wrong with with her my dad agrees. she harasses me every day and rips me down to where I feel horrible on a daily basis. and me and my boyfriend have been dating for three years, his parents offered me to live with them. my mom has told me if I think I can do it get out and don't talk to her. I'm afraid she will have the police over to rip me back home. I've graduated highschool with honors never been in trouble and have a every day Job that I can make ends meet with. and I have a car under my name. and my dad approves. can I leave now and not get ripped back by police. she wants to see me get in trouble so I know she will tell me to get out again and I will and she will report it a run away

You are legally a minor until you turn 18, although you could go to court to file a petition for emancipation or to change custody to your dad. But it wouldn't make sense to do this for the 3 month time period. If you could somehow get your mom to sign an agreement changing custody to your dad (maybe if it's a support issue he'll agree to continue to pay for the last 3 months), then you could use that to protect yourself from police intervention. But from your description her cooperation seems unlikely. Good luck.
