Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My sister and her child lives with me and my mother. She resently got upset and ran away with the child. I'm very scared for the safety of my nephew. What can I legally do?

If you know where she is, you can call the police and have them check on the well-being of the child. If there are fitness issues with your sister, you or your mother may want to consider filing for custody.
