A ex that won't go away

my son got into--name removed--private school ONLY based on--name removed--football scholarship, otherwise I could not afford it, he dropped out of football--name removed--year later, I told him and his mother he had to go to public school, I could not afford private, my ex wife sent him anyway.. 2 years later she is trying to sue me for 1/2 the tution?, Is that legal??

I assume you are talking about college, although you weren't specific. Unless you agreed to pay his college expenses, you can't be ordered to do so. If you did agree, the provisions of the agreement would determine your ongoing responsibility to pay for private school tuition.
