Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I'm undergoing a child support modification review. I'm the one that pays the child support. It it possible to request that the mother be required to take a drug test to receive the child support?

If you are not seeking a custody modification there would be no basis for a drug test. Remember--child support is for the benefit of the child, not the custodial parent. If you think the mother is spending your support money on drugs, and that her use of drugs is harmful to the child, you should be thinking about a change in custody.
