Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
Unsigned dirorce papers
Divore papers served to wife in October 2006. She will not sign them. She has left home and moved in with another man but has 3 friends still living in the house which is in her ex-husband's name. He is attempting to evict these people who pay no rent. Will the divorce become final if she does not sign it? They have been physically apart for 15 months.

Yes, if cooberated, the divorce can become final. A default will need to be requested and then the matter will move forward.
I would be happy to discuss your matter further, if interested, please contact my office for a consult.
Re: Unsigned dirorce papers
If a complaint for divorce was filed with the court and the complaint was served on her along with a court-issued summons, then you need to file a motion for default judgment. Once the default is granted, you will need to appear at a hearing with a corroborating witness.

Was a scheduling hearing held? Why is she not signing the documents? You should contact an attorney.
