I was given and unsigned promissary note..

I am married, my wife filed for separation...I lost my job in August 2008 and also was given an unsigned promissary note on behalf of my father in law...I never signed the note...can it be enforced?

An unsigned note is unenforceable. However, if you borrowed money and didn't pay it back as promised, you could be sued for collection based on the oral agreement.
