Visitation
What can I do if I don't feel comfortable sending my 3 year old out of state for his visitation time with his father?

Re: Visitation
It depends on what your discomfort is based upon. If it's because of the need to travel, you should be able to make arrangements to have your son accompanied on the trip. You didn't clarify whether the visitation is by agreement or court-ordered. If it's based upon him being with his father, and you have some evidence to justify your discomfort, you could petition for a modification of court ordered visitation--for example, ask the court to require the father to come here to have his visitation. But the court isn't going to impose such a burden on the father if you can't cite examples of what has occurred during such visitations to justify your discomfort.
