Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Is It Whichever comes first?

Question.

My Court Orders for Child Support are before October of 2002 for the state of Maryland. So, Does Child Support Ends when my Child Turns 18 years old in September of 2008 or Graduates from (Secondary School) which is High School in May of 2008? If the child graduates in May like expected do I continue to make payments until the 18th Birthday?

Re: Is It Whichever comes first?

Your child support obligation is to pay child support until your child turns 18 or, if the child is still in high school, to provide support past the 18th birthday until the school year is finished.
