Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My wife has been in a battle with her ex husband. He took the kids and she had a lawyer. The hearing was done and judge said that in 90 days they would get back together and work on alimony in the mean time the kids were to stay with there father and visit with there mother 1 night a week and 1 day a weekend. This has not been happening. As for alimony my wife only makes so much and the amount that they are asking for would take away from her living her home and bills would be unpaid as she has another child also with her. The father wants back pay on this alimony and she sent $400 to him this last month to try and pay something he got his lawyer to file with the child support agency cause the judge said that it would be $600 a month. Her lawyer never told the court what her amount of money she makes or what bills she has to pay. I help with the bills but am not there guardian or father so my money i believe is exempt from paying. Is there a way to file a injunction til it goes to court so the judge can make a decision on how much alimony would be paid. If so how would go about doing it? We are searching for a new lawyer as the first two did absolutely nothing for the case. Please if someone can help us with a answer or even a good lawyer in the Baltimore area that is not afraid to fight in court please let me know.

Thank You...

Are you referring to alimony or child support? It sounds like the latter. It is difficult to answer your question without more insight into where the case is now, what hearings have been held, and what remains to be done. In general, injunctions would not apply to child support, or alimony for that matter, but it is certainly possible to review what awards have been made so far as well as the basis for those awards.
