Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My wife is in a custody case. I am not a party to it. I am ordered in the court case not to say disparaging remarks about the father. since i have no legal representaion iin this case can I be held to that order

Since you are not a party to the case, legally you aren't subject to court orders. But your wife is, so why make things hard for her by defying the judge's instructions?
