Re: ex wife
There is no way that your boyfriend's ex-wife can attach your wages or make any claim for child support from you. You have no responsibility for the support of her child and still would have none even if you and he were married. Before she could attach your wages she would have to ave a judgment from a court indicating that you owed her money. As for the restraining order, if there is no basis for it she could conceivably be fined for filing frivolous litigation. You don't state whether there has been a court order for child support from your boyfriend or whether he is paying the ordered amount. If he is, and she keeps demanding more, he could let her know that he might file an action for harrassment (in the District Court). A lot of people get by with terrorizing other people with threats of baseless legal action because so many people are unfamiliar with the protections afforded by the law against such threats. Maybe you need to file for a restraining order because of her threats and intimidation, if it is truly as bad as you say.

There is no way she can attach your wages, as you are not responsible for your boyfriend's child support. As for the restraining order, if it is directed to her ex, he should seek legal representation, as his ability to see his children could be affected.
