Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I need out!!!

I will be turning 18 in almost a month and hate living at my house, i've wanted to move out as long as i can remember and always thought the day i turn 18 i am out. It's not that i want to move out so i can party all the time i want to move out because when i am here i am depressed always knocked down, and made to feel stupid. I want to get out and do things on my own and prove to them i am somebody. Lately my parents and I have non-stop fought and i told them when i am 18 i am gone but my mom told me that even if i am 18 i am not allowed to move out because i still have one more year of high school left. Is that true? do i really have to stay here or am i allowed to move out. I'm not saying that moving out is going to be easier on me i know it will be hard but i am willing to work that much harder just to get away from this ''home''. I HATE it here and i need a way out. PLEASE help me, by law am i allowed out at 18??

Re: I need out!!!

Under Maryland law you are considered emancipated at age 18. If you don't know what that means, you probably should stay at home and finish High School.
