Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
Hello.
I was wondering how old you have to be to move out? I know in the statr of Maryland you have to be eighteen but I was wondering if you were seventeen and decided to move out of your parents household if they could legally do anything to you? thank you.

Re: Hello.
They could go to the police and report you as a runaway, asking the police to pick you up and bring you back. You can file a petition for emancipation if you want to try and establish your right to control your own life.
