Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

wrong strategy/attitude

I have a horrible custody case. I have been told by 3 lawyers and the pro-se office that if I went to ''trial'' I would win custody.

We had a court hearing last week and I was just a little too 'sure' of myself. I don't think the judge likes me. My lawyer's strategy is not going over well either.

I will be going back to court because my ex is in contempt. She ignored some very vital stipulations the judge put in our order.

I wish I could tell the judge I'm sorry, I got bad advice. I answered his questions, but then was not allowed to 'elaborate'. It is very difficult to be on that stand.

I am trying to work it out with my ex but it is not going well. What should I do?

Since your question was devoid of detail that would enable me to give you any useful advice, all I can suggest is that you have a detailed discussion with your current attorney and determine how best to proceed from here.
