Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My three year olds father is in federal prison, and is a three time felon which will be released in a few months. He will be living in a half way house upon release, and his mother currently has grandparent visitation for five hours a month. How can I end her order and have the father lose all rights to the child.

You hire a Maryland family law lawyer, who can file a petition to modify the current custody order. I understand that you do not want the father, a 3 time convicted felon around your 3 year old, however, what's the reason for not wanting the grandparent to have time with the kid? I think you need to SERIOUSLY think about trying to cut a grand parent off from their grand kid, especially when it's just 5 little hours a month.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
