Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland
accountant fees
My accountant recently sent me a large bill for services (review house contract, etc.) from nearly 1 year ago. He never told me how much he charges and I never agreed to pay for these services. Is his bill legal? Or am I legally responsible for paying it?

Re: accountant fees
While your accountant should have billed you sooner, did you really expect that when you asked him to perform professional services for you, you wouldn't be charged? I suggest you contact him for a discussion of the problem and try and work out a fair resolution.

I'm not sure that the services as provided were as agreed and I'd need to see the work as well as other matters to assess a likely judgment. Contact me to discuss.
