What can i do about my kid catching ringworm at a daycare? The daycare failed to notify us that someone at the center had ringworm until my kid caught it. They said that they did not have to notify the parents. What legal steps can I take against the daycare.

First, I suggest you contact the health department in your county to see what their requirements are for daycare centers and whether or not an inspection is appropriate. As for the daycare center's civil liability to you, that would depend on whether they violated any regulations or whether they should have been aware of the other child's condition and failed to disclose it to you prior to your child's exposure.
