Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

Collecting on a Judgment in US Dist. Ct for MD

Does anyone have some insight on the Federal collection process? Specifically, collecting on a large civil judgment in US Dist Ct for MD (greenbelt). Are there any forms or certain pleadings you suggest filing? Garnishment?

It depends on what assets there are. If it's bank accounts or wages, you garnish. If it's real or tangible personal property, it's a writ of execution by levy. If it's a large judgment and there are assets, I would suggest you refer it to counsel to collect. We handle such matters in MD and elsewhere.
