Can I be denied tenancy in the State of Maryland. I have on my record was place on Stet 2 years ago (misdemeanor ) and the Apartment complex said my credit report was good???

There are equal opportunity housing laws in place that prevent a landlord from denying housing on the basis of race, national origin, religion, etc., but otherwise the landlord has discretion. You should try to find out the specific reason they've turned you down and if appropriate, file a complaint with your county's housing or landlor/tenant commission or office.
