Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

Final Hearing for an Orfder of Restraing

What do I need to prove my case for the final hearing for the granting of my request for an order of restraing against my daughter who I do not any contact with because she keeps on verbally abusing me (I am 81 years old) and has stolen thousands of dollars out of my bank account. I have already obtained a temporary 1 week order and need to go back for a final hearing.

You will have to testify convincingly to a judge that your daughter has either physically abused you or threatened you in such a way that you have a reasonable fear of being abused if she isn't kept away from you. If you have others who can back you up on this from their personal observations, you can bring them to court to testify as well.
