finance company suing over furniture

i am being sued for failure to pay a finance company for furniture i purchase. My account is now current with them. Do I still need to go to court?

Re: finance company suing over furniture

You need to get the finance company's lawyer to file a dismissal of the suit, or they will get a judgment against you which will be on your credit record.
