Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland
I live in Maryland. I have been named in a Civil Action Complaint in Pennsylvania. During a concert there was an incident (not started by me) where I basically ended up under a pile of 4 other people. Now, 2 years later a girl who was on top of me is claiming she was assaulted by me and is suing the concert hall and me. My questions are:
Since I live in Maryland and this occured in Pennsylvania, should I care at all about this?
If I have to get my own representation, can I or should I counter-sue because of the expenses I will incurr?

You do have to worry about. You have to determine whether the statute of limitations has run out. I doubt it has but you want to respond to this matter. If the case has no merit and she was aware it had no merit i.e. it was filed frivolously, then you can counterclaim for court cost, expenses and any damages that may be attached.
