Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

Malicious Destruction of property/Tresspassing

I filed a Peace order against my neighbor for Trespassing and Destruction of property. He got a lawyer. I have pictures and a letter from the HOA, do I need a lawyer-if I do for what reason?

What is the HOA's stance on this issue? Why are they involved?

Is, or will, the neighbor claiming costs (i.e., legal fees) or other losses? What has the lawyer done with regard to representing the neighbor?

It may be beneficial for you to be represented. On the other hand, if the order was granted and there is violation then call the police and make a complaint. Seek further enforcement as applicable.

It depends on what the lawyer does. If he was hired to defend the neighbor against possible legal action by you, you don't necessarily need one. If he violates the peace order, contact the police.
