Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

personal theft

I lost my purse at a fast food restaurant and it was stolen and the credit card was used. I have reported it to the credit card company and I have a police report. Can I ask the management to view the in store video camera or is this action only reserved for the authorities?

Most likely they will do this as part of a police investigation but not otherwise, but you could ask the store management if they would do it for you.
