Rec/sports group
Can someone sue a non profit Rec/sports group? This man was a coach and after failing his background test he has treating to sue because of a rumor going around about his background. Can the club be sued?

If the "group" is a not for profit corporation or an LLC, it can be sued as such. You name the resident agent/LLC member in the complaint and serve that person. If you go on the site of the State Department of Assessments and Taxation, you can find out who the resident agent is.
If they're not incorporated, nor an LLC, you would have to sue the individual who is operating under that name.
