Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

Using someones name on a website without authorization.

Dear Sirs, I was married and owned a business jointly with my wife and parents. I became divorced and asked my now ex-wife to remove our names off of the company website. She had mine removed but has refused to remove my parents names. Do we have a cause for legal action against her?

This depends on what the basis for putting the names on the website was in the first place. If the business is a corporation and your parents are still associated with the corporation as officers or directors, it may be entirely appropriate to retain their names on the website, as long as your ex isn't misrepresenting their involvement in the business. If there's no legal basis for the retention of their names, then they may have a right to seek a court order instructing your ex to remove their names.
