Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland
Title
I bought a vehicle from a car dealership in Laurel, MD who filed Chapter 11, case# 09-14731, in Feb., 2009. I have not received my title or hard tags to date. I would like to know what course of action I can take to get my title and tags.

A Chapter 11 doesn't bring about a closing of the business, just a reorganization, so the dealership should be able to deliver the tags to you. Contact MVA and see if you can get tags and a title issued directly upon presentation of the bill of sale.
