Legal Question in Health Care Law in Maryland
I gave birth to my daughter in MD on Dec 2010 through an emergency c-section. I had to use the on-call doctor, but a resident performed my c-section. I was neither asked nor gave permission for this. Apparently the hospital is a teaching hospital, which I was also unaware of. Doesn't this information need to be disclosed?

Was the C-Section performed properly? If so, what's the problem?
