Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

i came to Us in 1980 with Greencard with no expire date on it. Some one stole my purse 1990 . i reapplied for the card i received a card with expire date on it . I reported the police ablout the stolen purse. They found the purse after all the process for new card was done.for now my question is can still use the old card with no expition date on it. with out paying every ten years for new card? waiver the fee and get card

You need to have the new greencard because they have the new security features. Having an outdated card may cause an Immigration/Customs Enforcement officer to question its authenticity. There is no such thing as no expiration date. Regardless of what your card says you have to renew every 10 years, otherwise you are in danger of jeopardizing your status as a Permanent Resident.
