Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

I am on my 1-month grace period after my J-1 work contact (or appointment)

is finished. Can I find another J-1 contract during the grace period and reinstate my J-1 status before the grace period expires?

Some J-1s may be extendable. If yours is possible to be extended, then yes it might be possible, but without further information, it's not possible to tell.
