how to adjust pending political asylum case after marrying US citizen.

i entered usa legaly (j1 visa), after 1 year i applied for political asylum. it's been pending for 3years now (my hearing date was rescheduled several times and i don't know when it's actualy going to happen, if ever). recently i got married to an us citizen and he wants to file all nessesary papers for me to adjust my status. could you please tell how he can do it? what is the best way to do it? and is there a way to close my political asylum case?

You can cancel the asylum application which is pending and have your husband file an alien relative petition for you to adjust your status and remain in the US.

You may want to have an attorney review your case as there may be some options for you. You can always withdraw your asylum case if you would like. You may also be eligible to adjust your status given your legal entry and marraige to a U.S. Citizen.
