conditions for permission for staying outside the US for greencard period
what is the maximum period for which a permenant resident can apply to remain outside USA and how will it effect his/her mandatory period of stay for qualifying to apply for citizenship?

Normally, one year is the maximum time. At that time, a presumption arises that you have abandoned your LPR status. There are ways to preserve residency and preserve your status while you are outside the U.S.
