Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland
Am I eligible/authorized to work as an independent contractor if I:
- entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa
- have married my spouse within the requested 90 days
- just filed for adjustment of status (aos pending)

As long as your I-765 ("EAD") is approved, you can work for whomever you want in whatever capacity you want (1099 or W-2).
