Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

false official documents

My daughter's fiance is an illegal entrant from Hondouras. He was in possession of a false Social Security card as well as a fraudulent ''GREEN CARD''. They went to the MD state DMV to obtain a MD state identification card. The clerk took the two false IDs and reported them to the police. He was given a citation and released for a court date in August. The fraudulent documents were retained by the police. Is this a felony and is he subject to deporetation? How can his stauts in the US be legalized? My daughter is pregnant with his child, due in September.

Re: false official documents

He is subject to deportation not because it was or was not a felony, but because he is here illegally. The fact that he attemted to commit fraud makes the situation even worse. He is going to be deported and be indamissible to the USA after his deportation.
