Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

H!B and G4 Visas

I am on H1B visa working for an IT company. My spouse is also H1B visa. I and my spouse have independent H1B visas.

I am likely to get an appointment with an international body and I need to apply for G4 visa. Is there a provision which states that if G4 visa is granted to me, H1B visa of my spouse will also be cancelled and the spouse should also be on G4 Visa?

I expect that her visa would continue to stand alone, but there may be reasons to change that or possibly not. Our primary visa attorney could advise you on this if you wish; this type of work is all she does.
