How can i join my family

My husband had applied an 1-130 petition on my behalf back in 2001,april,when he was permanant resident.Recently he has got his US citizenship.My question is that what is the fastest way that I and my minor children living with me may join my family in US.what will become of my 1-130 petition filed in april 2001.Pl guide me what procedure should my husband adopt in this regard.

You did not indicate whether you are in the US or elsewhere. Your husband needs to inform the Immigration Service that he is now a US citizen so that they may move the file forward. You may want to consider using an attorney to have things run smoothly. Good luck!
